Wow this month has to be my busiest month ever!  I'm so sorry I haven't had time to make an entry until now. Let's see .  Where do I start?

The pictures that are spread out throughout the page are some of my favorite orders that I completed this month.

The month started out with a customer wanting to sell my puzzles in her brand new children's store.  She ordered 2-3 each of 19 different puzzles.  Wow ! I was so excited!  This will be the second brick and morter stores that sells my puzzles and the largest order I have ever had to date.  I got right to work on the puzzles knowing I would need as much time as I could get to finish the order on time.

That Saturday I had a  HUGE street fair in Granada Hills, CA.  I had never done this fair before but it turned out to be fabulous. Best of all the last customer of the day bought one of each of my 3D children's puzzles. I actually sold out!  I was excited about the sales that day but really worried at the same time.  You see I had a two day fair the coming week and wasn't sure if I could get enough ready for the next fair plus I had that big order to work on too.  So I worked non stop all week so that I had at least one of each of most of my puzzles.

On Friday I woke up bright and early in the morning to go set up for my two day craft Boutique at a local church.  I had done this show last year and for the size I did okay.  But I had high hopes for this year because I had so many new puzzles and I just new I would do well.  I ended up making a few custom orders and making some great contacts and I sold about the same amount as last year.   The great thing about this fair was that it was really inexpensive so what I sold was mostly profit. ( It's so rare to find good shows that are at reasonable rates)  The great thing about how slow it was, was that I had plenty of time to work on the puzzles for that big order.  Plus I knew that whatever I didn't sell at the show would go toward completing the big order.

After the show I went through the inventory to sort of get a feel for what needed to be made for the order and what needed to be made to be able to do the next show. OMG did I have my work cut out for me.  After filling up about three pages worth of puzzles that needed to be made I got right down to work.  But on top of the big order I still had the custom orders from the show and I got a whole bunch of online orders. So I worked like the wind cutting up a storm of puzzles.  I multi-tasked working on as much as 17 puzzles at once.  Cutting, sanding, painting, sealing all you could see where puzzles everywhere.  Last weekend I finished up at least one of each of the puzzles for the big order and sent them off for her opening plus all my on-line  orders and all the custom orders and mailed them off.

Whew!  I took a deep breath and got right back to work and that has been what I have been doing ever since.
